Build a simple interactive web app called NYC 311 Neighborhood Explorer using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Use NYC Open Data's 311 service request dataset as the main data source. The goal is to make the dataset easier for ordinary NYC residents to explore without having to search through a large table.
The app should allow users to:
Search for a NYC ZIP code or neighborhood.
Filter 311 requests by complaint type, borough, and date.
See recent complaints on an interactive map.
View a few summary statistics, such as the total number of complaints and the most common complaint types.
See a simple chart showing how the number of complaints changes over time.
Click on a map marker to see basic information about that complaint.
Use the NYC Open Data API to load the data dynamically. Create a clean and simple interface that works on both desktop and mobile devices.
Keep the project relatively simple and use front-end technologies whenever possible. Before writing the code, briefly explain the structure of the webpage and how the NYC Open Data API will be used.
