OpenData Vibe Assessment: Xuanang Li

Build an interactive NYC Restaurant Inspection Explorer using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript on top of the NYC Open Data restaurant inspection dataset.

Use the NYC Open Data API to retrieve restaurant inspection information and create a user-friendly interface for people who want to quickly understand the food safety history of restaurants in New York City.

The web app should allow users to:

Design the interface as a clean and responsive dashboard that is easy for a general NYC resident to understand. Use visual elements such as grade badges, summary cards, filters, and simple charts instead of displaying raw OpenData tables.

Use the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Restaurant Inspection Results dataset from NYC Open Data. Fetch the data dynamically through the NYC Open Data API rather than hard-coding restaurant records.

Please generate the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript needed for a working prototype. Keep the code simple enough for a student to understand and modify, and add comments explaining the main sections of the code.
